Background/Introduction Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is a major issue in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) management, and its risk prediction stays challenging for clinicians. Ventricular arrythmias (VAs) have to be treated rapidly, indeed VAs lower prognosis HCM patients. Current ESC guidelines cardioverter-defibrillator implantation include left atrial (LA) whereas ventricle (LV) ejection function (LVEF) incorporated AHA latest guidelines. We explore the potential role LA LV strain as more sensible parameters rhythmic prognostication. Purpose To assess stratification patients accurate markers SCD. Methods Patients with newly diagnosed were enrolled three French University Hospital (Marseille, Bordeaux Rennes) between 2007 2018.
